We are delighted to say that this is our biggest auction so far with just over 600 lots. We also think in terms of quality bottles that this one of our best auctions yet!
The highlight of the auction is probably Lot no. 1 which is a Midleton Silent Distillery Chapter 2 - this is an amazing whiskey with incredible presentation. As you may know Chapter 4 was released recently at a retail price of €50K! At Lot no. 2 we have a very old Midleton bottling which we believe is an 8 year old from the 1920s/ 1930s. It was sold by Woodford Bourne who were a proud Cork-based company who were established way back in 1750!
We have a number of great sets available including a Dreamcask 4 bottle set, a Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest set, a Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood set and also a couple of Midleton Very Rare mini-sets. There is also a Killowen Cuige set, a Killowen Bonded Experimental Series set and an 8 bottle Bushmills Causeway set, plus a 9 bottle Writers Tears Cask Strength set (2014-2022). There's a Spot Whiskey set, Dingle set and even a Method & Madness set also!
Teeling - we have an amazing line-up of Teeling bottlings including the following sets - Centenary, The Renaissance, The Revival and Brabazon. We also have a large number of their vintage bottlings from 21 year old all the way up to their 37 year old. All in all we have over 120 bottles of Teeling in this auction!
Once again we have the usual wide selection of bottles from most Irish brands including Redbreast, Powers, Bushmills, Teeling, Dingle, Killowen, The Irishman, Writers Tears, Thomond Gate, Dunville's, JJ Corry, W.D. O'Connell, Waterford plus a few more. There are also some great American Bourbons, Scotch and Japanese bottlings on offer.
We believe (hope!) that we have something for everyone - a good few high-end bottles, but also a very decent range of everyday drinkers.
