Our recent Halloween auction was our biggest but to beat it again in the next auction is amazing - a big thank you to everyone who gave us their bottles!
We have over 730 lots, with well over 950 individual bottles as we have a good few sets and joint lots of multiple bottles on offer. Speaking of sets, three of the stars of the auction are probably Lots 1, 2 and 8 - a full Writers Tears Cask Strength set, a full The Irishman's Cask Strength set, and a set of 'The Big One' from Two Stacks. This is the first time that a full The Irishman's Cask Strength set or 'The Big One' set has come to auction so there should be huge interest in these lots!
Once again it is a tough one to pick a few of the auction highlights to highlight here as there are loads of lots worth a mention this time! We have some amazing older bottlings like the Jameson 'JJ&S' pre-prohibition USA Release from c.1919, the Roe & Co 53 year old, the Jameson's Old Malt and the Locke's V.O.K. 15 year old plus a few others. We also have several of the ever-popular Midleton Very Rare 1980s bottles, plus a couple of Dungourneys and a Midleton 1973. We are very pleased to say that we even have a bottle of Midleton Very Rare Foret de Troncais - this is sold out and this is the first one to come to auction since they were released.
Along with some other amazing premium bottlings we have the usual wide selection of bottles from most Irish brands including Midleton, Redbreast, Powers, Bushmills, Teeling, Dingle, Killowen, Two Stacks, The Irishman's, Writers Tears, Thomond Gate, Dunville's, JJ Corry, Waterford plus a few more. There are also some great Scotch whiskies on offer including The Macallan, Bowmore, Laphroaig, The Balvenie, Springbank, Glenmorangie, Speyburn and The Glenrothes. For our Japanese fans we have some Hibiki, The Chita, The Yamazaki and Nikka. For our American Whiskey/ Bourbon fans we have some Elijah Craig, WhistlePig, Fugitives, Jack Daniel's amongst others!
For those of you who like to buy your whiskey by the case we have you sorted - we have a full case of Killowen and full case of Dingle on offer (both still sealed)!
Although we are primarily a whiskey auction, once again we have a very decent range of interesting cognac, vodka, rum, gin, champagne, port and even some wine for those of you who enjoy these drinks as well.
We believe (hope!) that we have something for everyone - a good few high-end bottles, but also a very decent range of everyday drinkers.
