Description: Distilled by B. Daly, Tullamore Distillery, Co Offaly and bought by The Central Bar, Lisburn, Northern Ireland in 1945. It is not known if it was new make whiskey at the time or aged stock which means possibly distilled prior to 1945. Bottled in 1989 at 40% and only 114 bottles were released. Whiskey of this age does not exist in large amounts and this is one of the finest examples of whiskey from this era. Priced at é500 back in the early 2000's the value of this bottle has gone up significantly and will undoubtedly continue to rise. Includes two Glencairn glasses in a wooden presentation box.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
