Description:
This single cask, cask strength bottling was limited to just 280 bottles.Aged entirely in a first-fill ex-Rioja cask, this homegrown barley whiskey is bottled, labelled, wax-sealed and boxed on our farm. The whiskey spent about 3 years and 4 months in a single ex-Rioja cask. The cask was sourced from Bodegas Faustino in Spain. This has given the spirit held in this single cask a rich red colour and delicate wine notes.. It is smooth and creamy on the palate despite the ABV of 60.8%, with delicious lingering black pepper, custard and nutmeg notes.
