Description:
A bottle of the special Ukraine Charity Imperial Stout finish Pot Still, this whiskey was crafted in collaboration with Western Herd Brewery Co Clare.These bottles have been matured originally in a Hogshead barrel made of seasoned toasted French Oak. This barrel firstly matured a VS cognac cask that had been used to finish triple distilled Single Malt - (Released under Galloping Hogan) when this cask was empty it was transported to Co. Clare and on the 15th February 2021 was filled with Imperial stout which was emptied on 5th June 2021. The cask was then transported to Great Northern Distillery where it was refilled with a Single Pot Still on 08/05/2021 & emptied on 18/12/2021 (7 months). Limited to 160 bottles, bottled at Cask Strength 53.28%.
