Award winning Distillery exclusive, Roe & Co Japanese Sugi, is a premium blended Irish whiskey finish, a rare flavour exploration born out of technical experimentation with Japanese Sugi wood. A first in Irish whiskey, this exciting new whiskey showcases a unique wood type, Japanese Sugi, as well as a maturation process never before seen within the category. The wood used for the elongated bungs is an aromatic, lightly toasted Japanese Sugi, known for its highly active porous nature, which imparts a tangible spice and toasted sandalwood notes throughout.
