Description: Exclusively bottled for The Single Malt Fund, owner of www.thesinglemaltshop.com. This Redbreast 22 Year Old Single Cask was hand selected by Irish Distillers Master Blender Billy Leighton and Blender David McCabe and bears the signature sherry style that is synonymous with Redbreast Irish Whiskey. First laid down to mature on the 17 October 1997 in ex-bourbon barrels, this exceptional liquid was then re-casked in an Oloroso seasoned sherry butt on 25 March 2010. Rich in tannins with touches of leather and dried tobacco that quickly subside revealing toasted almonds and walnuts, all layered over sweet vanilla and dried fruits that linger in the background adding balance to the pot still spices.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
