Description: That Try is the fourth bottling in Penderyn’s Icons of Wales series, each of which celebrates Wales and its people throughout the world. Released in time for the Rugby World Cup 2015, it is a tribute to the greatest try ever scored in Welsh rugby history (aka 'That Try'), scored by Gareth Edwards for the Barbarians against New Zealand on 27 January 1973 at Cardiff Arms Park. Matured initially in bourbon barrels, it was finished in quarter casks which used to hold peated Islay whisky, resulting in a sweet and smoky spirit.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
