Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year Old Family Reserve, the #1 rated Bourbon Whiskey in the world and the first to be given a 99 out of 100 rating by the World Spirits Championship. This bourbon is aged for 20 years and bottled at 90.4 proof for a wonderfully smooth and rich profile. Produced in very limited quantities by Buffalo Trace distillery, this forms part of the very sought after Pappy Van Winkle series of whiskies. Aside from the rich family history, Van Winkle bourbons are made with corn, wheat, and, barley instead of corn, rye and, barley. This 'wheated' recipe gives the bourbon a much softer, smoother taste and allows the whiskey to age more gracefully.
