Description:
The fortieth release of Midleton Very Rare with Kevin O'Gorman now well-established as the Master Distiller. Midleton Very Rare (MVR) is aged between 12 and 25 years in Bourbon casks. Rare and highly collectable, this whiskey has won many awards and received industry accolades keeping the Midleton name revered. Starting in 1990, there were both 70cl and 75cl versions produced, depending on the destination market. Only just released in mid-February 2023, we are pleased to be able to be the first to auction with it. This latest release is presented in a new recycleable plastic carton which reflects the Pernod-Ricard strategic plan to reduce their emissions and move more to recycleable materials in all their products by 2025. As per the 2021 release, there is no distillery invitation, only a certificate of authenticity.
