Description: The thirty-eighth release of Midleton Very Rare saw a major change was Kevin O'Gorman took over as Master Distiller, his signature now appearing on the label instead of Brian Nation. Midleton Very Rare (MVR) is aged between 12 and 25 years in Bourbon casks. Rare and highly collectable, this whiskey has won many awards and received industry accolades keeping the Midleton name revered. Starting in 1990, there were both 70cl and 75cl versions produced, depending on the destination market. Presented in the new style wooden box, and with distillery invitations no longer included, only a certificate of authenticity.
