Description:
The thirty-first release of Midleton Very Rare saw a major change was Brian Nation took over as Master Distiller, his signature now appearing on the label instead of Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare (MVR) is aged between 12 and 25 years in Bourbon casks. Rare and highly collectable, this whiskey has won many awards and received industry accolades keeping the Midleton name revered. Starting in 1990, there were both 70cl and 75cl versions produced, depending on the destination market. Another change was that they were now presented in a quality wooden box, still with a certificate of authenticity and with the bottle number stamped on the distillery invitation.
