Description: Master Distiller Emeritus, Barry Crockett, may not have known at the time what a legacy and tradition he was creating with this first bottling of Midleton Very Rare in 1984. Since then this revered brand has gone from strength to strength, and is now in its 39th year with the release of Midleton Very Rare 2022. Midleton Very Rare (MVR) is aged between 12 and 25 years in Bourbon casks. Rare and highly collectable, this whiskey has won many awards and received industry accolades keeping the Midleton name revered. All the 1980s bottlings were 75cl and were presented in a white cardboard carton, with a certificate of authenticity and the bottle number was hand-written on the distillery invitation.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
