Description:
This Limited Edition release was a ‘World First’ for Irish Whiskey; a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey aged for 6 years in Bourbon Barrels and then re-casked for a further 22 years in a Ruby Port Cask. This exquisite whiskey began its journey in 1989, when a Single Pot Still spirit from Midleton Distillery was filled into American Oak barrels and moved to Ruby Port Pipe in 1995 for the remainder of its maturation. This is one of the most highly regarded Irish Whiskeys ever produced in terms of taste, mentioned by connoisseurs in the same breath as the legendary Redbreast Dreamcask 32 year old.
