Description: Knockrath Forest is the latest chapter of the Midleton Dair Ghaelach story. The virgin Irish oak barrels used for finishing this whiskey were harvested from Knockrath Forest in county Wicklow. This Single Pot Still Irish whiskey was matured initially in American Oak Bourbon barrels and finished in virgin native Irish Oak Hogshead casks grown on the Knockrath Estate. Amazingly, each cask can be traced back to one of seven individual 130 year old oak trees from the forest. This bottle is from tree 7 and is probably the hardest Tree No. to source due to limited production.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
