Description: After more than a century, legal whiskey distillation returns to Galway with the release of Micil Peated Single Malt. Limited to only 360 bottles, this whiskey represents the marriage of Micil's Connemara and Galway City roots. The team has taken the learnings of their past, but reinvented them for the future, creating a bold, spicy single malt layered with their trademark soft Connemara peat smoke. Produced on a small still with long distillation times and cuts made by taste and sense alone, this wonderful expression of Galway Whiskey uses 100% Irish barley, malted with turf from the Micil family land and is matured in Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado Sherry casks, imparting intense sweetness and depth to this already exceptional spirit.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
