Description:
This was initially matured in an ex-Bourbon cask and was then finished in a Marsala barrel from Marco di Bartoli in Sicily. The Knappogue Castle Single Cask Series was made in conjunction with the Celtic Whiskey Shop, with each finishing barrel being sourced from some of the wine companies that they work closely with. Marco di Bartoli make some of Sicily's finest wines and are well known for their fine Marsalas.
