Description: A rare bottling of John Jameson & Son 'JJ&S' Dublin Whiskey, bottled by John Broder, Rosemary Square, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. This was back in the day when Jameson was bottled locally by 'Wholesale Bottlers' like Broder's, and each local bottler had their own label. A piece of Irish Whiskey history. This looks like a 'quart' bottle or at the very least a 40oz (1.125Ltr), hard to say when there is no size on the label. Just to note that in terms of provenance this bottle comes from a private collection that was put together by the current owner's grandfather around 80 years ago, this bottle has been in their sole possession (and it seems ideally stored!) - until now.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
