Description: Taking inspiration from the atmospheric bodegas of the Andalusian region of Spain, the distillery team have combined the distinctive dark fruit sherried flavours of the region with the soft elegance of 21 year bourbon matured malt whiskey. The 2023 launch of Fercullen 21 Single Malt marks the arrival of our second batch of aged malt with a delightful sherry influence. In the process of selecting from the array of available whiskeys, Paul Corbett opted for an elevated sherry influence to harmonize with and offset the bourbon wood notes originating from the 2001 distilled malt whiskey. The final outcome is a nuanced blend of rich, sherry-infused fruit flavours juxtaposed with the refreshing, creamy elegance of ex-bourbon matured whiskey.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
