Lot condition is very good as per the photographs, particularly considering that the bottle is over 100 years old.

Description:
An amazing bottle, a really rare find. To our knowledge this is the first one to ever appear at auction. The label states 'Bottled Labelled and Capsuled by Dunville & Co Ltd in their own warehouses'. There is a reference there from The Lancet (which is a well-known and well-regarded medical journal) stating that 'It is genuine Irish Whiskey thoroughly matured entirely free from acrid flavours particularly smooth to the palate'. A cracking bottle now well over 100 years old and in incredible condition!
