Description:
A bottle of Dunphy's Special Export. Cork Distilleries Company (now part of Irish Distllers Limited) initially created this brand as a light bodied blend for American tastes in 1955 called "Original Irish The Very Best Imported Whiskey" which was renamed in circa 1958 as "Dunphy's Original Irish The Very Best Imported Whiskey". This was originally destined for the US export market to cater for the popularity of Irish Coffee, it was discontiued in the US in 1988. A newer version of the brand can still be found today in Ireland and is sold as a budget bottling.
