Description: The next edition in the Celtic Wheel of the Year series is here – Grianstad an tSamhraidh Single Pot Still Whiskey, finished in American Rye casks. This release pays homage to the summer solstice and longest day of the year. In Celtic tradition this is considered the peak of summer, and is revered for its plentiful hours of life-giving sunlight. Grianstad an tSamhraidh is the last great festival before daylight begins to dwindle, so we celebrate it enthusiastically as the crops begin to ripen and bear fruit. To see the sun set from Dingle on Ireland’s west coast is an incredible experience, and always worth the wait.Seventh in the new series of limited-edition whiskeys distilled, matured, and bottled at Dingle Distillery, this Single Pot Still release has been matured in first filled bourbon casks before a long finish in American Rye casks. This is a highly limited release, at only 9,000 bottles available worldwide.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
