Description:
This single malt is a Bushmills 2000 Port Cask single malt whiskey. This dram had a hefty 20-year-long slumber in Portuguese first fill ruby port wine casks. Undergoing a classic triple distillation in November 2000, this was then bottled in 2021 at a cask strength 54.1% abv. It is also from chill filtration and artificial colouring. The Causeway Collection is a celebration of Bushmills rarest and most special casks, gaining inspiration from the Giant’s Causeway that is just down the road from the Old Bushmills Distillery.
