Description:
This 2008 Jupille Casks Single Malt is part of “The Causeway Collection” launched by the Bushmills Distillery. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021, released exclusively to the French market. This bottling has been aged in Jupille casks, a very obscure French oak barrel produced from the Jupille Forest near the Loire Valley. The wood is dense with a tight grain, with only 5,000ha of forest available compared to the half million hectares dedicated to Limousin oak. It’s profile is said to impart pink rose vanilla. Pair that with the honey, melon and pear of the Bushmills malt and you have a melody of flavour that is sure to please.
