Description:
An easy introduction to Islay Whiskies the Bowmore Surf is a real peat pleasure, far from becoming the best Bowmore it is a pleasurable, palatable peaty Islay. Just as its name the surf comes to mind with maritime influences on the nose, salt and seaweed but also bread and lemon pickles, the palate is salted caramel, honey, pepper and smokey oak with a long finish of citrus, honey and pepper.
