Description: After the end of prohibition in 1933, Arthur Bell's whisky went from strength to strength. In the same year Arthur Bell's & Sons acquired two distilleries, Blair Athol and Dufftown-Glenlivet and then in 1936 Inchgower distillery was purchased. The 1995 decanter celebrates the art of distilling and the role played by the cellar man over an eight year period, monitoring the progress and regularly taking samples, checking on the development. Only when the whisky is judged to have reached optimum maturity, will he finally release the whisky for blending and bottling.
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
