Description: The 2003 decanter celebrates the life of ‘Alexander Fleming' 1881-1955, born in Lochfield Scotland. Fleming discovered penicillin, while serving as a captain in the army medical corps, during the first world war. Knighted in 1944 and awarded the Nobel prize in 1945.
