Description: The Cratur- Exploration Series is a series in praise of the Small Pot Distillers who made The Cratur, an exploration of flavour. Each bottling will be distilled from a singular Mash bill to be created only once, each batch a creation of ingredients, fermentation and distillation. The First bottling is a Peated Malt just as The Cratur would have been. Mevagh Parish were Baoilleach Distillery is based had a reported 130 Stills in operation in 1819. With ould Inishowen in sight, two bays over, with a reported 1300 Stills spread over 17 parishes, this part of Donegal was a home to the small Pot and the Cratur.
