Description: The very first release from the well-regarded Thomond Gate Brand. The first whiskey to be released from Limerick City for many years and this release definitely celebrated Limerick's Heritage and history. Limited to only 100 bottles that quickly sold out, these bottles are individually numbered. On the neck of each bottle is a uniquely numbered coin which is a replica of the traditional 'Tub tokens' that were originally used to purchase spent grains from the original Thomond Gate Distillery as a nod to the history of distilling in Limerick. The packaging also includes a certificate in the original writing style of the distillery and each new bottle owner was invited to enter their name into the 'Thomond Gate Book of Custodians'. which will be an eternal record of the faith and support this brand has had from its founding buyers..
PLEASE NOTE
We have taken great care to provide very clear photos of each lot. Please study these carefully before you place a bid to ensure that you are satisfied with the lot's condition.
All our lots are pre-owned so there may be some element of normal wear & tear present. If we ourselves have noted something unusual (beyond normal wear & tear) we will have mentioned it in the 'Condition' section.
We cannot be responsible for natural blemishes in the grain of wooden presentation boxes - wood is a natural product and it comes the way it comes.
